About
FreeBioList is a free calendar of upcoming FDA decisions and clinical data readouts for US-listed biopharmaceutical companies. It currently tracks 241 catalysts across 125 companies, 233 of them verified against the filing that announced them. It also publishes guides that explain each kind of event in plain English.
The FDA does not publish pending PDUFA dates. They become public only because a company disclosed one — in a press release, an 8-K, or a 6-K. Every site in this space assembles the same information by hand from those primary sources, and most of them put it behind a subscription. This one is free, and every row links to the document it came from, so you never have to take our word for a date.
Regulatory decisions — PDUFA target action dates, advisory committee meetings, and the NDA and BLA submissions that precede them — alongside clinical readouts from Phase 1 through Phase 4. Coverage is deliberately limited to US-listed companies, because that is where the filings are free and open enough to verify everything.
FreeBioList is an independent project. It is not affiliated with the FDA, the SEC, or any of the companies listed, and it does not accept payment from any of them in exchange for coverage or placement.
FreeBioList is built and run by Small Cap Slap, an independent small-cap biotech researcher based in Australia, who reads the filings behind each verified row and writes the guides. Small Cap Slap is not a licensed financial adviser, and nothing on this site is advice.
Sourcing. Every row links to the document that disclosed it. Primary sources — SEC filings, FDA notices and company releases — are preferred; a row taken from a secondary source is labelled Reported until someone has checked it against the company's own filing.
Verification. Verified means a person opened the linked filing and read the sentence with the date in it. Scripts help find candidate filings, but no date is marked verified by a script. Where a filing is ambiguous, the row is marked Needs check and the note says why. The methodology page has the detail.
What we don't do. No predictions of approval odds or trial results, no price targets, no buy or sell ratings, and no paid placement. Company guidance is quoted as the company's guidance, not endorsed.
Guides. Guides are written to explain how a process works, cite primary sources such as FDA.gov, the eCFR and SEC.gov, and show the date they were last updated.
If a row is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed, with the source link updated to match. When a correction changes what a row says, the row's note records what was corrected. Errors in guides are fixed in place and the guide's “updated” date changes.
Display advertising and voluntary reader support. Advertising never affects which companies or catalysts appear — the data comes from a filing scan, not from anyone's marketing budget. Any arrangement that could affect what you read here will be disclosed on the page it affects.
